Pajama Suprize!
So the other day I woke up and went to open Haley's bedroom door. I had heard her earlier over the baby monitor as she was playing so I knew she was awake. When I peered in, she had crawled back under the covers on her little toddler bed. She hopped out upon seeing me and trotted over to share a good morning hug; her little orphan child hair bouncing all around her face. Suddenly she stopped and said "oh, right der, right der mom," and begins to unzip her footie pajamas. She sticks her hand down the leg just as far as it will reach and it appears that she has something. With a cute little smile she pulls out.................a DVD!!...........and announces "see; right der!" As proud as she was at this dramatic unveiling; it doesn't change the fact that my darling little girl had stuffed a DVD down her pajamas and was laying in bed with it that way! It was so stinkin' funny. Don't ya just love it when your kids do adorable stuff first thing in the morning; before the fighting and whining and mess making begins? It''s just a good way to start the day.

Wacka wacka doo doo yeah!!
Hola to all!
Thought I'd add a bit of fun from my life. My dearest son has decided that his name is now "kayson". He's been correcting us all for about a week now. At first Haley was getting really irritated with it but the other day she was corrected (once again) by Kade. She paused, and I swear I heard her sigh that female sigh that says "fine, this is lame but I'm tired of arguing so I'll give you what you want; you goofy goofy male!" They she politely said "oh, kayson."
He is a silly kid. He'll tell you this wild off the wall story and say "That's the funniest movie!!!" Sometimes he'll ask you if you've seen it or "did you know".....then, "well, that's the funniest movie ever!!!" Kudos to the creative forces being exercised in his little mind.
The kids are loving our goats. We had two major smelly ones named 'Carp' and 'Tree'. Get it? ............. Carpentry......ha ha aha ha a. I know we are soooo funny! I mean, we had to do something clever; we were competing with 'nit' and 'wit' who were my inlaw's goats. Well, these two were soooooo friendly. They'd follow you around like a little puppy dogs and rub their heads on your leg all the time. They weren't very aggressive though so I didn't worry about them head butting the kids. Now the kids head butting the goats is another story......... They each had one retarded horn (the goats, not the kids). It was sorta their birthmark or something. Unfortunately we ended up getting rid of them because you couldn't even be within 10 feet of their stench without having to go and take two showers to get the smell off. You can imagine what it was like when the kids tried to ride on their backs.......
Now we have two slightly cuter goats and they don't have the smell like the others did. The male is friendly and comes up to ya whenever we go back, but the female is a little less cuddly. She cracks me up though because when she bleats, she sounds like she's coughing up a furball. It's not very femanine, but we like her anyways. I'll see if I can get a recording of it so you can share in the joy;) She also needs her space. She gets mad when the other goat isn't near by, but when he's in her bubble, she gets ornry and knocks him away. No names picked out yet.
Kade is doing fantastic with his gymnastics. He loves it and actually has just a few things left to pass off before they'll move him up a class. He is also learning the alphabet and likes to ask me what letter different words start with. It's our driving game lately. He's very creative.
Haley is obsessed with the neighbor's cats. She would carry it around everywhere with her if I'd let her. She is my little animal lover. She can't wait until it's time to go out and check on the little fatties aka goats. She'll hug them until I drag her away. Bud, the dog at my inlaw's loves the attention but all the other animals are still perfecting their avoid and evaid manuvers. If I had to guess an occupation for her based off of how she is now, I'd say she'd be a great veterinarian.
Can't wait 'till Tovey gets back! He's been outta town:(

Lets Take a Step Up
Thank you, thank you for all the other mothers out there who are so inspiring!! Not just to get me writing (lets face it, this is the closest I've gotten lately to writing any kind of journal entry), but thank you for sharing your ups and downs, your learning experiences, and the neat little things in your life that make you who you are. Thank you for sharing you ideas and new things you've discovered. When you share what you're experiencing, it helps me feel not quite so alone. We really are all in this together and can be stronger by learning from one another. I have this quote that's been kicking around in my mind lately. It says
:)
:)
"Very few burdens are heavy if everyone lifts."
(Sy Wise)
:)
Thanks for helping me remember that I am normal (well, sort of) and that the challenging things I'm experiencing are not the end of the world. Here's another awsome quote that I have to credit to my friend Karma. It's helped me push through a lot of gunky days.
:)
"Just because it's hard, doesn't make it bad."
:)
Keep smiling and remember that you are worth more than the earth's weight in gold!! Loves to you all and to anyone who actually reads this.
